Put your marker on any intersection of the board to start the game. Take turns turns with your opponent, placing one stone per turn. Surround your opponent's stones fully to remove them from the board. Dominate more area than your opponent by the end of the game to win. Use planning to block your opponent's moves while extending your own territory. Note that stones are immovable once placed, unless removed. The game ends when both players pass their turns consecutively, indicating no more actions can help either side.
